On October 14th, we went to the Heritage Days at Frances Slocum State Park. It was a beautiful fall day, perfect for a picnic and then some heritage fun. It's very kid oriented which made it even more fun.
The kids really enjoyed their maple syrup lollipops.
There were games...
drums...
crafts...(this one was a bug making craft)
They had a good time decorating gourds.
Caden's gourd with cheeks and a chin...Abigail's was already in her bag. It had 3 pink pom-poms on it.
Caden was thrilled to find this place with the tiles where they could make trivets. He did this 2 years ago and loved this craft.
and leaves!
We finished up with some time on the playground which was probably the highlight of the day, after the trivet of course.

Amazed at how long Abby's hair has grown. Looks like they really had a great time. I can't believe how focused they were on all the activities. They are so cute playing the drums together. Love the pictures of them in the leaves.
