Concentration Lips
When Abigail concentrates on something, she usually ends up making these lips :) She was helping me lay out saltine crackers so we could make Easy Toffee. I saw it again later in the day when she was painting.

Country Ham Steak with Glazed Apples
This is a new recipe we tried tonight found on cooks.com. It definitely has an interesting combination of foods, but I really liked it. Jason said, "different but good". Caden didn't like the apples, and Abigail didn't really like it. We'll probably try it again anyway.
3 Tbs. butter
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 Tbs. Dijon mustard
2 cups (2 medium) cored, sliced 1/8 inch tart apples
1 lb. (1/2 inch thick) ham steak
In large skillet, melt butter until sizzling; stir in brown sugar and mustard. Add apples. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until apples are crispy tender (5 to 7 minutes). Place ham steak in same skillet, arranging apples on ham steak. Cover; continue cooking until ham steak is heated through (5 to 7 minutes).
