Caden Lost His 1st Tooth!

Caden lost his first tooth today in school...thank goodness!  Every time he wiggled it, my stomach would drop.  I couldn't stand losing teeth, so I knew I wouldn't enjoy it when my kids lost theirs either.  Anyhow...it was really loose this morning, so I thought he might lose it today.  He jumped off the bus after school, and of course it was the first thing he told me.  It came home in a cute little mouse that his teacher must have for these special occasions!

Abigail's Frist Day of Preschool

 Abigail's photo shoot, I mean first day of preschool was on Tuesday, September 10th.  She was so excited to go!  I was a little worried because for weeks prior to the first day whenever we would talk about school, she would say, "No! I not go to school!"  She was very excited to meet the teachers the week before, so I was hoping school would be the same way.  She walked right in, no worries or tears (from her at least).  I think it helped that there were 2 "birthday party boys" this week who brought in cupcakes.

 I also wasn't sure she would be willing to have her picture taken, but I think after seeing Caden go through it, she was ready!

 This was the puzzle piece she decorated that is now hanging on the wall at her school for the theme "We All Fit Together".

 This balloon was the special treat she found waiting for her in the car since she went to school happy :)  She chatted the whole way home.  I have a feeling she'll tell me more than Caden ever did!

Daddy bought Abby special cookies to bake on her first day of school.  She really enjoyed baking and tasting them!

Sandwich Maker

Caden asked if he could make his own sandwich for school the other morning.  How could I say no to that?!  He's growing up!

Tee Ball Picnic

Caden had his end-of-season picnic for tee ball on Aug.17.  They gave out trophies again, which is really nice.  This year his name and team name aren't on it though.  I think we'll give it another year because Abigail wants to play, and it'll be nice to have them on the same team though we will miss Jacob.  (Caden took the bottom picture.)

Soccer Games

 

 

 Caden had his first game on Sept. 24th (first 3 pics) and his second game on the 31st (last 4 pics).  We lost both games, but that's ok!  Jason was the referee on the 31st :)  He's an unofficial assistant coach for Caden's team.  Abigail is doing a great job at sitting and watching the game although she was more interested in what was going on behind her in the above pic.  It was nice having Nana and Papa join us for the last game.
