Golf Tee Activity

Abigail has been asking to go "bishing" a lot lately, so Caden figured out a way to fish in the house.  This was one of those rare occasions where they played really nicely together while I got house work done.  Fortunately that his happening more and more often!

Hair Stylist

Abigail really likes playing with her new hair styling set from her Uncle Brooks and his fiancee, Amanda.  Her mouth opens and shuts whenever she uses the straightener, just like when she's cutting with scissors.  She tells me she "lubs" (loves) the lipstick that came with it...oh boy!

Abigail's New Bed

We decided that Abigail was probably ready to move to a big girl bed (a toddler bed from my sister-in-law, Justine) on December 27th (two days before turning 32 months).  She thanked us at least 3 times that day :)  She has been doing very well with it, so we are pleased.  It was an adjustment for me, but I think I'm doing well too.

Caden's Christmas Show

Caden had his sing along with his school on December 20th.  I took a video rather than pictures this year because my pictures didn't turn out very well last year.  This was after the show.  He was up front and in the middle most of the time on stage, and he sang his heart out!

Church Christmas Play

Let's go back in time a little to December 16th.  Our church had another Christmas play that the kids were involved in.  Abigail was a star while the little boy sang Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. She also helped with The Little Drummer Boy.

 

 Caden was one of the kings.  His line was, "Look, a bright star!"

 His other part was the Little Drummer Boy.  His lines that he memorized were:

What can I give him,

Poor as I am? 

If I was a shepherd,

I would give him a lamb.

If I was a Wise Man,

I would do my part.

Oh, what can I give him?

I'll give him my heart!

 Here is his pout when they gave him the drum without the sticks.  Abigail kept grabbing his hand to try to get him to play the drum.
